YOUTH RECREATIONAL AND LEISURE ACTIVITIES PROGRAM COORDINATOR

Location: Massey Fairgrounds, Massey, ON
Terms: 8-week, full time contract (35 hours per week), start date June 30, 2025
Wages: $18.50/hour

The Massey Agricultural Society is a volunteer organization. Our mission is to encourage agricultural awareness celebrate our community and promote arts and culture and the rural lifestyle. We provide educational, cultural, and agricultural experiences to our members and the public.
About the role:
Supervise youth and leisure activities including coordinating Exhibit Hall competitions, Massey Fair Youth Activities, and Massey Fair Day Camps.
Requirements:
Legally eligible to work in Canada
Between the ages of 15-30 as per the Canada Student Jobs Opportunity Grant
Reliable transport to Massey Fairgrounds
Must be available to work occasional weekends and evenings
Must be available to work Massey Fair Weekend
Valid CPIC
Valid First Aid & CPR
Access to a personal vehicle is an asset
Skills:
Organized
Communication – written and oral
Experience in leading children's activities and asset
